POCO F4 GT – the latest high-end flagship smartphone from POCO. It’s set to be released in April 2022 and will join the popular POCO F4 5G in the same series. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at what makes the POCO F4 GT stand out from the crowd.
The display is one of the biggest perks of the POCO F4 GT, as it features an Amoled screen of 6.67 inches that offers a resolution of 1080×2400 (FHD+). It has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a contrast ratio of 5000000:1 for excellent visibility, with HDR10+ for a vibrant viewing experience. To protect the display, it has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, giving it great drop and scratch protection. The usable surface is also impressive, reaching up to 85.8%.
The audio features are another standout feature of the POCO F4 GT. It has stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, and Dolby Atmos support, while JBL quad Stereo Speakers give it a true surround sound effect.
The hardware inside the POCO F4 GT includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (4nm) processor, 8/12GB of RAM (LPDDR5), and 128/256GB of UFS Storage 3.1. The AnTuTu (v9) benchmark score of 959727 gives it smooth performance and fluid graphics. It also supports gaming buttons, a cooling system, and X-Axis Haptic Vibration Motor for more precise haptics and vibrations. Plus, Built-in 4860mm² VC soaking plate, Dual VC Liquid Cooling, IO Turbo, and VSR (variable resolution rendering) for better frame rates on gaming.
On the camera side, the POCO F4 GT features a triple camera setup. It has a standard Sony IMX686 Exmor RS lens with 64.0Mpx and f/1.73 aperture, a wide angle Omnivision OV8856 lens with 8.0Mpx f/2.2, and a macro lens with 2.0Mpx and f/2.4. For selfies, it has a Sony IMX596 sensor with 20.0Mpx and f/2.4. With 4K video, 6P lens, and ultra wide angle 120° FOV, you’ll be able to capture beautiful photos and videos.
Connectivity-wise, the POCO F4 GT comes with Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM slots, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), GPS (L1+L5), and an infrared port. As for the battery, it has a capacity of 4700 mAh and supports fast charge of 120.0W.
In conclusion, the POCO F4 GT is a great choice for those looking for a high-end flagship smartphone. It’s well-equipped in terms of design, materials, hardware, and audio features. Its Amoled screen offers great visibility and the audio features provide great sound quality. Plus, it has a powerful triple camera setup and powerful connectivity options. On the downside, it does not have wireless charging nor any water or dust protection features. Additionally, it is quite heavy compared to other devices. All in all, the POCO F4 GT is an excellent device and one of the best smartphones in its class.
